Dig It Coffee Co. is throwing an opening celebration for its second shop on Saturday, Oct 3, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Garden Foundation, 8390 W. Windmill Lane, so southwest locals get a new coffee stop without the downtown drive. Dig It is a social enterprise that trains and employs adults with disabilities, and the Windmill room sits on the Garden Foundation campus as a sister shop to the original. Expect coffee and matcha, toasts, bowls, burritos, pastries, cake push pops, and mini pancake stacks (menu prices for the new spot aren't posted yet). The downtown Molasky cafe at 100 N. City Parkway, Suite 130 stays open Mon–Thu 7 a.m.–2 p.m. and Fri 7 a.m.–1 p.m.; regular Windmill hours aren't listed yet, so treat Saturday's celebration as the hard window and check the site before you go.

Boom Bang Fine Foods & Cocktails is coming soon downtown at 70 E. Bonneville Ave., Suite 150 on the ground floor of the Las Vegas Civic Center, after the Planning Commission approved a full-service alcohol license for the new room. Chef-owner Elia Aboumrad (a Top Chef alumna) is framing it as a modern American diner meeting French bistro and Mexican café, with Vegas craft beer, wine, and seasonal cocktails, while the Henderson original at 75 S. Valle Verde Drive, Suite 160 keeps dinner Tue–Thu 5–9 p.m. and Fri–Sat 5–10 p.m. (happy hour Tue–Sat 4–6 p.m., (702) 478-6200). Downtown open day is still TBA, so watch the site for a hard date.
