Aliante has opened Render Modern Kitchen, a gastropub that stays open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so North Las Vegas now has a sit-down kitchen and bar whether it’s 3 p.m. or 3 a.m. The room goes rustic and urban, with old brick, steel and dark walnut around a big central bar, plus street-art pieces, a small stage for live music and TVs all around. Breakfast runs all day with an island plate of Portuguese sausage or Spam, a farm loco moco and strawberry shortcake French toast, and the rest of the menu covers poke nachos on wonton chips, wagyu sliders, 12-inch Neapolitan-style pizzas, prime rib and short ribs, with banana pudding for dessert. The bar pours drinks like a smoked old fashioned and a prickly pear and mezcal cocktail, and there’s a full zero-proof menu too. It’s the newest piece of Aliante’s remodel, following the redone sportsbook and the Italian spot Trattoria 57.
