La Neta Cocina y Lounge closed suddenly on Tuesday, Sep 29, 2026, after five years at 1770 Festival Plaza Drive, Suite 200 in Downtown Summerlin, and the 81/82 Group confirmed the call in a statement to the Review-Journal’s Neon desk. The modern Mexican room was known for shareable plates, a deep tequila list, and a loud brunch-and-party streak that made it a west-side regular for a lot of locals. There’s no public farewell night on the books and no successor tenant announced yet, so treat the Downtown Summerlin box as dark for now. The restaurant’s website may still show hours and brunch promos, but the operator has already said it’s closed. If you were holding a reservation habit there, pivot to another Summerlin Mexican for the time being.

Now Open: Randy’s Donuts at Prendi / SAHARA

Randy’s Donuts is now pouring glazed classics at Prendi inside SAHARA Las Vegas (2535 Las Vegas Blvd S), with boxes available daily from 6 a.m. until they sell out. Prendi is the grab-and-go counter near the lobby (same neighborhood as Starbucks and The Tangier), and the room itself runs roughly 6–10 a.m. and 2 p.m.–4 a.m. if you want coffee, focaccia, or gelato around the donuts. This is Randy’s third casino footprint after Red Rock and Resorts World, so north-Strip locals finally get the Inglewood classic without a valley detour.

Coming Soon: Almond & Oat Coffee Bar in the Arts District

Almond & Oat Coffee Bar is set to open on Tuesday, Oct 7, 2026, at 1300 S. Casino Center Blvd., Suite 110 in the Arts District, inside the old Dig It Coffee Co. box at ShareDowntown. Owner Kyle Cunningham’s dairy-free, oat-milk shops already run on Spencer Street and South Jones, and this will be the group’s first Arts District stop. Hours for the new room aren’t posted on the brand site yet, so watch @almondandoat closer to Oct 7 if you want the first pour.

$1 Oysters at Cin-Cin Brewhouse Mon–Sat

Cin-Cin Brewhouse & Seafood Bar at 914 S Main St in the Arts District runs oyster happy hour Monday through Saturday from 2–6 p.m., with $1 oysters shucked to order, $6 house craft beer or sake, and $6 hand rolls. Sunday happy hour is dark, and the brewery’s beers are made on-site, so it’s a real Brewery Row stop rather than a casino raw-bar copy. Walk in for bar seats, or call ahead if you’re bringing six or more.
