Finney’s Crafthouse, the SoCal tavern making its first Las Vegas Valley stop, opens Mon Sep 21, 2026, at 11 a.m. at 10955 Oval Park Drive in Downtown Summerlin (the old Wolfgang Puck Player’s Locker space). It’s a roughly 5,400 sq ft indoor room with a dog-friendly patio, and the first 200 dine-in guests get a Finney’s hat. Posted hours are Sun 10 a.m.–10 p.m., Mon–Thu 11 a.m.–10 p.m., and Fri–Sat 11 a.m.–11 p.m. (phone 725-334-2990), with happy hour Mon–Fri 3–5 p.m. A second Finney’s is still planned for Town Square later in 2026.
Chapala’s Mexican Restaurant at 3331 E. Tropicana Ave. is preparing to close by the end of November 2026 after more than 30 years on the East side, as the Flores family looks toward retirement. Exact last day isn’t set yet, so plan a visit before month-end November if you want one more meal. Hours for now are Fri–Sat 11 a.m.–9 p.m. and Sun–Thu 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
New Vista’s Wine Walk runs Sat Sep 26, 2026, from 7–10 p.m. at The Pavilion in Downtown Summerlin with about 18 tasting stations and a dog-friendly setup. Advance general admission is $50 and day-of is $60, and proceeds support New Vista’s work with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
